Meet the Man Behind the Merchandise
For my very first blog post to coincide with the launch of my A/W14 Ready to Wear collections, I thought I would take the opportunity to introduce myself.
I’m Neil Duttson; creator of DuttsonRocks a leading ethical diamond and jewellery company offering clients a bespoke gem buying service. Akin to a ‘personal shopping service’, DuttsonRocks clients have the chance to purchase the worlds finest conflict free diamonds at up to 30 percent less than the equivalent high street price. I have worked hard within a notoriously closed industry to create a solid reputation as a leading ethical diamond expert, providing an innovative approach, competitive pricing and a trustworthy trading policy.
However this year saw me expand my business with the launch of my debut Ready to Wear collection in July. I wanted to create several ranges of jewellery that anyone can access in terms of cost, wearability and seasonal trends. I’ve used the very best quality raw materials to make beautiful, affordable pieces. The first collection: Shades of Summer combined classic white and rose gold with a palette of pastels in modern enamel to create a stunning range of stackable rings and bangles.
My inspiration always comes first from my family and home by the sea, followed closely by my years of travel and never ending wanderlust!
The debut collection has been a great success from which we have developed a wider range of colours ready for Autumn. Known as the Equinox, the jewellery will showcase the rich tones of nature this time of year: a vibrant burnt orange, a warm wild sage and a deep aubergine amongst others. Due to demand, the Ready to Wear collections are growing and becoming a bigger part of the business with a number being added in the run up to Christmas.
Above all, regardless of whether you are purchasing bespoke gem piece or something from the Ready to Wear range, at DuttsonRocks I always combine expertise and integrity with sophisticated & stylish design to create a totally unique jewellery buying experience.
Get your rocks on!
