Size Guide

Rings with a thick band or stacking style will feel tighter than a thin band, we would recommend going for a size larger than your normal ring size.

Your ring should be loose enough to slide over your knuckle comfortably.

Care Guide

Neil's advice for all precious jewellery:

*  Always put your jewellery on last, after applying make-up and perfume
*  Take your jewellery off before bed.
*  Store each item separately in a jewellery box so that it cannot be scratched by other pieces of jewellery & remember to keep chains fastened so that they don't get tangled up.
*  Never wear your jewellery in swimming pools or hot tubs due to chlorine damage.

Diamonds & other Gemstones:
Diamonds and harder gemstones can be cleaned with warm water, a little fairy liquid and a very soft toothbrush but remember to pop the plug in the sink! If you want the 'lustre' brought back into your diamonds before going out then I recommend having a sunglasses cloth handy as this is by far the best way of bringing back the 'bling'!

Silver, Gold & Gold Vermeil:
Silver – Silver tarnishes easily due to sweat & skin- absorbed products, so needs to be regularly re-polished. Avoid spaying perfume directly on any jewellery

Gold - Use a soft, lint-free cloth to polish gold jewellery – We stock these should you need one sent out, please email for details

Gold Vermeil - Gold vermeil is plated gold on sterling silver, this requires the same care as gold (see above). Always avoid spraying perfume & hairspray on gold vermeil as this will remove the gold plating over time. I also recommend where possible for clients of gold vermeil to avoid contact with sea water, chlorine & household cleaning products.

Enamel – I suggest removing all jewellery when you shower or have a bath & definitely in the Spa or when on the beach. Never spray perfume onto the enamel as the alcohol will remove it. Be careful of hot weather, humidity and strong sunlight.

Pearls  - can be wiped with a soft cloth but can be damaged by make-up, body lotion and perfume & hairspray.

It is advisable to have precious jewellery professionally cleaned every few years, so that the settings can be checked along with the metal and stones. Always take these items to a jeweller you trust or contact us via email to organise this for you.
